Dana Sumlea

[dana_sumlea@yahoo.com]
I am Romanian, living in Paris since 2004, studying at La-Villette.

I will start working on my final project, most probably a study on a Squat in Paris (list of suggestions on how to approach this subject still opened).

Residual space, deserted space within the citylimits, to whom does the city belong to/who belongs to the city, to own/to make your own, protect/integrate cultural identities… are some of the subjects on which I hope to learn more along with you, sharing and “borrowing” from your experiences.
Given my great interest on Latin American culture, history and developpement (so far nourrished by books I’ve read, beautiful people that I met) I am also counting on you to get a good background for when I’ll finally get to cross the “lake”…
In other words, congratulations for taking care of this project, it’s growing every day due to the time and sleepless nights you invest in organizing and designing this blog…and most of all thanks for the patience – I’m sure I’m not the only one following with interest(but from the shadow) the developpement of Alterurbanet.

Looking forward to meeting you all!
